| Reverse description | The reverse displays a bold Arabic nasta'liq inscription occupying the majority of the flan, struck in high relief against a dark patinated field. The legend is arranged in multiple registers and reads in flowing calligraphic script. Scattered pellet ornaments are visible within the field serving as decorative fillers between the inscription elements. The die is slightly misaligned relative to the flan, a characteristic feature of hammered provincial copper coinage. The overall execution is consistent with anonymous Qajar-period copper fals from the Hamadan mint. |
