Reverse description Central field displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription in crude Naskh script, likely bearing the name and titles of Ilkhan Abaqa Khan along with mint and date information. The legend is framed within a beaded or dotted inner border, with a circumferential marginal inscription partially visible around the edge of the irregularly shaped flan. The hammered strike results in weak and off-center areas typical of Ilkhanid fals coinage of this period. The reverse exhibits green and brown patination with moderate surface corrosion.
