| Obverse description | Central field bearing the Shahada in multiple lines of Arabic Kufic-influenced script: 'La ilaha illa allah muhammad rasul allah,' with the formula of blessing upon the Prophet continuing in the lower registers. The inscription is arranged horizontally across the flan in a bold, angular hand characteristic of early Ilkhanid copper coinage. The legend fills the field without a framing border, consistent with the undated, undifferentiated fals issues of Hulagu Khan's reign. The flan is irregular and shows typical hammered fabric with uneven surfaces and patchy green patination. |

| Reverse description | Central field inscribed in multiple horizontal lines of Arabic script reading 'Qaan al-azam Hulagu al-muazzam' (The Supreme Khan, Hulagu the Exalted), identifying the issuing ruler without mint name or date. The bold, angular lettering fills the flan in a manner typical of early Ilkhanid anonymous copper issues, struck without a framing border or decorative elements. The surface exhibits heavy green and brown patination with moderate wear consistent with circulation use. The irregular flan edges reflect the hand-struck hammered technique employed at provincial Ilkhanid mints during the mid-thirteenth century. |
