Obverse description Central field occupied by the Shahada inscription in Arabic script, arranged within a circular cartouche or annular border. The legend is disposed in multiple lines across the field, executed in a bold, somewhat angular hand characteristic of early Ilkhanid copper coinage. A secondary marginal legend encircles the central device, separated by a linear border. The flan is irregular and slightly scalloped at the periphery, with areas of green cuprite patina overlying the reddish copper substrate, consistent with prolonged burial.
