Reverse description A prominent eight-pointed star with a raised central boss is depicted within a raised inner circle occupying the central field, a motif widely employed on Seljuk of Rum copper coinage of the late 7th century AH. The points of the star are rendered with uniform geometry, lending the design a bold and angular character. Surrounding the inner circle, a circular Arabic legend fills the outer zone, recording mint and date information in a script characteristic of Anatolian Seljuk issues. The flan edge is irregular, consistent with the hammered technique employed at the Sivas mint.
