| Obverse description | A ram depicted in profile facing left, rendered in bold relief in a stylized manner characteristic of Safavid-era Isfahan copper coinage. The animal is shown in full body with its horns prominently indicated above the head, four legs visible, and small foliate or grass elements suggested beneath the hooves. The design fills much of the irregular flan with a vigorous, if somewhat crude, hammered execution typical of anonymous provincial fulus. No legend appears on this side. |
