| Obverse description | Lion passant to right occupying the central field, rendered in a bold, naive hammered style characteristic of Safavid-era provincial copper coinage. A radiant sun or solar disc rises above the lion's back. The design is enclosed within a beaded or dotted circular border. The strike is irregular and the flan shows typical surface porosity associated with cast copper flans of the period. |
