Obverse description Central field features an interlacing geometric knot motif of Type C1c1, executed in the style of a linear tilework pattern characteristic of Moroccan Alaouite hammered coinage. The design is enclosed within a rectangular linear border, above which the mint name appears in Arabic script. The irregular flan and crude striking are typical of hand-hammered copper fulus of this period. The overall composition reflects the ornamental aesthetic of late 17th-century Moroccan numismatic art.
