At the centre, the coat of arms of Buenos Aires province — depicting a handshake beneath a radiant sun, within an oval cartouche flanked by laurel and oak branches — is rendered in relief. The circular legend GUARDIA NACIONAL DE BUENOS AYRES runs between the beaded inner and outer rings, separated by a small rosette. |
