| Obverse description | Central field bears a Bhadrapitha (sacred pedestal or altar used for the placement of devotional icons), depicted in stylized form with three lamps or flame elements rising above it. The design is rendered in a bold, archaic hammered style characteristic of Burmese coinage of the Konbaung dynasty, with the motif occupying the majority of the irregular flan. The overall composition reflects the Srikshetra artistic tradition, drawing on ancient Pyu iconographic conventions. |
