Obverse description Bearded head of a satyr facing left, rendered in archaic Greek style with characteristic bestial features including a broad, flat nose and prominent brow. The hair is depicted in thick, flowing locks swept back from the forehead, with a wreath of ivy or vine leaves crowning the head. The beard is rendered with deeply engraved, wavy striations extending from the jaw. The surface of the field is plain, with no legend or inscription.
