Obverse description Conjoined crowned busts of King George V and Queen Mary facing left in high relief, the King in uniformed dress with epaulette and decorations visible, the Queen in robes with a pearl necklace. The legend arcs around the periphery on both sides, with the inscription MADE IN ENGLAND appearing in the lower exergue.

Reverse description The shield of Guernsey bearing three leopards passant guardant arranged vertically, surmounted by a sprig of foliage, set within a raised circular border. A Latin legend encircles the inner border reading BALLIVIA INSVLE DEGERNEREYE, while the outer legend commemorates the coronation with the date 22 June 1911. The entire design of the inner circle and Latin legend appears inverted relative to the outer commemorative legend, consistent with medal alignment.
