Obverse description Central circular field depicting a steam and sail vessel underway to the left, with birds in flight above and water rendered in horizontal lines below. The central medallion is framed by a scalloped border and set within an ornate cross-shaped surround with four lobed arms, each decorated in high relief with engraved floral and foliate motifs and rosette bosses. A suspension ring is fitted at the top.
