Obverse description Bare bust of King Sisowath I facing left in high relief, with the engraver's signature P.LENOIR incuse below the truncation. A circular legend in Khmer script surrounds the effigy within the field.

Reverse description The royal coat of arms of Cambodia occupies the central field, featuring a shield bearing a decorative vase on a pedestal encircled by a laurel wreath, flanked by two crossed lances with pennants and two mythical serpentine creatures (nagas), surmounted by a tiered prasat tower with radiating sunrays above. A starburst order medallion appears at the base of the shield. The circular Latin legend runs along the upper periphery, with the date flanked by dots at the bottom.
