Obverse description A richly detailed naturalistic scene in high relief depicting a group of introduced and native animals in a landscape setting, including a prominent stag with antlers at centre, a llama, an emu, a swan, a pheasant, and a rabbit among trees and foliage. Birds are shown in flight in the upper field. The engravers' signatures and date appear in the lower exergue.
