| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the tughra (imperial monogram) of Ottoman Sultan Mahmud I, rendered in the characteristic calligraphic style with sweeping loops and extended horizontal strokes. The tughra is struck in relief against a flat, unadorned field. The flan exhibits an irregular, scalloped edge typical of hammered coinage of this period. The overall composition follows standard Ottoman tughra placement, centered on the coin face. |

| Reverse description | Three-line Arabic inscription in bold naskh script occupying the central field, reading 'Zarb fi / Tiflis / 1143' (struck in Tiflis, AH 1143). The mint name 'Tiflis' (Tbilisi, Georgia) is prominently placed in the middle register, with the word 'Zarb' above and the AH date 1143 (AD 1730) below. The script is deeply struck and bold, consistent with the hammered technique. The flan edges are irregular, characteristic of hand-struck coinage produced at the Tiflis mint. |
