Reverse description A plain cross with a pellet or annulet placed in each of the four angles between the arms occupies the central field. The cross extends toward the rim, dividing the flan into four equal quadrants. The design is unlettered and the flan is irregular, consistent with hammered billon coinage of medieval Denmark. The execution is crude, reflecting the small module and low-value denomination typical of North Jutland penning issues under Erik Menved.
