Obverse description Helmeted bust of King Eadmund facing right, rendered in the bold, stylised manner typical of mid-tenth-century Anglo-Saxon coinage. The effigy is set within a beaded inner circle, with the royal legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The helmet is depicted with a prominent nasal guard. Letter forms are angular and characteristic of the period's die-cutting style.

Reverse description A cross-crosslet occupies the centre of the design, positioned within a beaded inner circle. Each arm of the cross terminates in a small crosslet, and additional crosslet ornaments fill the four quadrants of the field. The moneyer's name is arranged in two segments around the outer periphery of the coin, divided by the inner circle, in the fashion standard to the Helmeted type coinage of Eadmund.
