Obverse description Central field occupied by a stylized eagle displayed, rendered in bold relief with broadly spread wings and prominent tail feathers, all executed in the vigorous, schematic manner characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-related coinage. The figure is enclosed within a plain inner circle, beyond which the irregular flan edge exhibits the characteristic ragged profile of hand-cut hammered silver. No legend or inscription is present. The relief is high and the design somewhat asymmetric, consistent with hand-engraved dies of the Viennese workshop of Duke Leopold VI.
