Obverse description Central five-pointed star motif with stylized lily terminals at each point, set within a beaded inner circle. Small crosses occupy the interstices between the star arms, while pellets are distributed in the outer field between the inner and outer borders. The design is rendered in a bold, archaic Romanesque style typical of 12th-century Austrian bracteate-related coinage.
