| Obverse description | Highly schematized and abstracted outline effigy of Apollo facing left, rendered in the distinctive Celtic La Tène artistic idiom derived from ultimately from Massaliote prototypes. The facial features are reduced to a raised circular boss within a plain annular ring, representing the eye, with curved linear elements suggesting the hair and facial contour. The design is enclosed within a plain outer border, and the flat, cast flan exhibits characteristic surface porosity and irregular edges typical of the potin casting technique.
