Reverse description Two cornucopias crossed at their bases, with a caduceus placed vertically between them in the central field. The cornucopias curve outward symmetrically to left and right, their mouths filled with fruit and foliage. The circular Greek legend ΤΙΒΕΡΙΟΥ LΓ (of Tiberius, year 3) runs around the periphery, serving as a dating formula referencing the third regnal year of the Emperor Tiberius. The overall composition is a common Herodian-era type reflecting Hellenistic influence on Judaean provincial coinage.
