| Obverse description | Crudely rendered figure of a rhinoceros moving to the right, occupying the central field of the flan. The animal is depicted in profile with characteristic stocky body and prominent horn, rendered in a naive, schematic style typical of Georgian copper coinage of the period. A floral ornament appears above the animal in the upper field. The striking is irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production on an uneven planchet. |
