Reverse description Three horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic legend fill the central field, separated by a dotted or beaded horizontal rule visible across the upper register, referencing the Abbasid caliph's title and acknowledging caliphal suzerainty. The inscription is contained within a plain border on a small, irregularly clipped hammered silver flan. The overall style is consistent with anonymous Almoravid qirats struck without a named emir or mint designation. The surfaces show typical wear and die-shift characteristic of hammered coinage of this type.
