Reverse description The reverse features a long-armed cross with double-ribbed limbs extending to the legend, effectively quartering the field into four cantons each bearing a rosette ornament. The entire design is encircled by a legend running between two concentric circles of pearls, consistent with the decorative style of late 13th-century Luxembourgish coinage.

Additional information

Henri VII's tenure as Count of Luxembourg began in 1288 and ended when he was elected King of the Romans in 1308, eventually becoming Holy Roman Emperor. These small silver fractions were struck during the early portion of that rule, before imperial ambitions redirected attention — and resources — well beyond the county's borders. The Luxembourg mint output from this decade is sparse, and Weiller's classification of this type reflects genuine rarity rather than collector enthusiasm.
