Obverse description Central device depicting the Honduran national arms: two draped flags flanking a landscape scene featuring a volcanic mountain, a coastal harbor with sailing vessels, and fortifications in the middle ground, surmounted by a triangular cartouche enclosing a radiant sun rising over mountains. The engraver's name BARRE appears in the lower exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, with the circular legend REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS arching across the upper field and AMERICA CENTRAL along the lower field.

Obverse lettering REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS AMERICA CENTRAL BARRE
(Translation: Republic of Honduras Central America)
Reverse description Completely blank field, unfinished as befitting a trial strike, with a raised incuse rim visible near the edge. The plain, unadorned surface confirms this piece was struck as a trial or test piece without a reverse die, leaving the field devoid of any design, legend, or device.
