Reverse description The reverse presents a central cartouche containing multi-line Arabic or Persian calligraphic inscription arranged within a lobed or ogival frame, surrounded by foliate and scrollwork decoration filling the outer field. The inscription is rendered in a cursive script consistent with Naskh or Thuluth style, though the shallow strike and heavy wear render individual characters largely illegible. A circular perforation is visible at the upper right of the flan, corresponding to the suspension hole on the obverse. Verdigris and dark oxidation patina cover much of the field, consistent with a base-metal replica or token piece.
