| Obverse description | Bare or laureate male head facing right, rendered in a Hellenistic style with finely detailed hair falling in waves; the portrait is likely a youthful deity or hero, possibly Apollo or a local civic personification. The facial features are crisply modeled with a high brow and slightly parted lips characteristic of late Sicilian Greek coinage. The neck is draped, and the portrait fills the central field with no visible inscription on this face. |
