Reverse description The reverse bears a three-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script, arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's field and occupying nearly the full flan. The upper legend reads 'al-Sultan al-Adil' (the Just Sultan), the central line names 'Shah Isma'il Bahadur Khan', and the lower line gives the mint name 'Zarb Mashhad' (struck at Mashhad). A partial floral or scroll border is faintly visible along portions of the rim. The lettering is deeply struck and bold, consistent with the First Standard coinage of Shah Isma'il I, though typical flan irregularities and slight die misalignment are evident.
