Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in archaic Etruscan style with schematic linear treatment of the hair, which falls in parallel striated locks behind the neck. The facial features are boldly modeled in high relief, with a prominent nose and strongly defined jaw. No legend or inscription appears in the field. The flan is small and irregular, characteristic of early Populonian silver coinage.

Reverse description Plain, uninscribed reverse with no design elements, presenting a smooth or lightly striated surface typical of the earliest issues of the Populonian As series. The absence of any type or legend on the reverse is a defining characteristic of this primitive fractional coinage, consistent with Vecchi Series III classification.
