Obverse description A stylised hare is depicted in profile facing right, rendered in the characteristic La Tène Celtic artistic tradition with flowing, abstracted lines. Corded bars appear below and in front of the figure, adding textural detail to the composition. A pellet-in-ring ornament is placed near the tail and a further pellet-in-ring appears below the hare. The design fills the irregular flan with no inscription or legend. The overall style reflects the abstract naturalism typical of Late Iron Age British coinage.

Reverse description A stylised horse is depicted in profile facing left, executed in the flowing La Tène Celtic manner characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. The mane and tail are rendered with corded detailing, emphasising the decorative treatment of the animal's form. A spiral sun motif occupies the field above the horse, a common celestial symbol on Catuvellauni coinage. A pellet-in-ring ornament appears in the field below the horse. The flan is irregular and the design is anepigramic, bearing no inscription or legend.
