| Obverse description | Facing Corinthian helmet rendered in high relief, depicted with a prominent transverse crest surmounted by a broad, finely striated plume projecting to both sides, the cheek-pieces parted to reveal the open face guard. Below the helmet, the value mark and what appears to be a small pellet or control mark are visible in the lower field. The design is bold and well-centred on an irregularly shaped flan, characteristic of early Etruscan hammered coinage. |
