Obverse description Facing left, the youthful female head is rendered in archaic Etruscan style, with elaborately tied-up hair arranged in layered locks falling behind the neck. The facial features are boldly modeled with a prominent eye, strong jaw, and fleshy lips characteristic of early Populonian coinage. The denomination mark, rendered as the numeral V, appears in the field to the right of the head. The style reflects the influence of Greek artistic conventions as filtered through Etruscan craftsmanship.

Reverse description The reverse is entirely blank, confirming the uniface nature of this issue. The flat, slightly concave surface bears only the natural flow marks and irregular flan texture resulting from the hammered striking process, with no design, legend, or device of any kind.
