Reverse description Two attendant figures flanking a centrally placed fire altar, rendered in a schematic and degenerate style derived from Sasanian prototypes. The fire altar, characteristic of Zoroastrian iconography, is depicted with a stylized flame above a stepped pedestal, reflecting the strong Sasanian cultural influence on the coinage of Sindh. The attendant figures stand on either side in a frontal pose, their forms reduced to bold, abstracted strokes consistent with the hammered fabric of the flan. The overall composition represents a localized adaptation of the classic Sasanian fire altar reverse type.
