Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in flowing thuluth script, reading the mint formula 'Duriba fi Jaza'ir' (Struck in Algiers), arranged across several lines within the coin's flan. The inscription is framed by a beaded border running along the irregular circumference of the hammered flan. The die-struck lettering displays characteristic Ottoman calligraphic style, with overlapping strokes filling the field. A small hole is visible near the lower left, consistent with period suspension or jewelry use.
