Obverse description Densely inscribed field bearing multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic legend in Ottoman script, arranged horizontally across the flan. The inscription includes the sultan's tughra-style titulature reading 'Sultan Murad Khan' with regnal epithets. The date appears in abjad numerals in the lower register. The surfaces exhibit the characteristic irregularity of hammered gold coinage, with legends extending close to the irregular rim.

Reverse description Multiple horizontal lines of Arabic inscription filling the entire field, presenting the Islamic profession of faith (shahada) and the mint/date formula in flowing Ottoman calligraphic style. The legends read across the flan in dense, closely-spaced lines characteristic of Ottoman gold sultani coinage of the period. The irregular flan edge and hammered fabric are consistent with provincial mint production at Tripoli.
