| Obverse description | Hammered silver tanka bearing a multi-line Arabic religious and royal legend disposed across the field in bold, angular calligraphy. The central field contains the Shahada and honorific titles of Shahrukh Mirza arranged in successive horizontal registers, with additional marginal inscriptions running along the periphery of the irregular flan. The script style is characteristic of early fifteenth-century Timurid epigraphy, with pronounced angular Kufic-influenced strokes interspersed with cursive Naskh elements. The surfaces show typical die-struck relief with natural flan irregularities consistent with hand-hammered production. |
