Obverse description The token is divided by two horizontal grooves into three segments, with a central round hole. The upper segment features an oval cartouche containing a leaping deer in relief, flanked on either side by Hebrew calendar year characters. The lower segment bears the word 'telephone' in Hebrew above its Arabic equivalent, both in raised relief.
