| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed souvenir security piece in red, maroon, and beige tones, centred on a right-facing portrait vignette of General Soedirman (1916–1950) holding a cane, with a background scene of Indonesian soldiers in military formation. Upper centre carries a cartographic vignette of Java island, while the lower left bears an image of a stretcher (tandu), and a star emblem inscribed 'RI' appears as a national symbol; the word 'PERURI' repeats across the guilloche underprint as an anti-counterfeiting measure. The inscription 'GENERAL SOEDIRMAN 1916–1950' appears at lower right, with the designer credit 'DESIGNED BY DESMAL' also present. |
