Perum Peruri — Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia — is the state security printer that has produced Indonesian banknotes since 1971. A "test note" from this facility is a production sample used internally to calibrate presses, test inks, or evaluate security feature registration, not a note intended for any monetary purpose. Such pieces occasionally surface through collector channels when surplus samples are disposed of, though Peruri has never formally released test material to the public through official means.
