Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in high relief with fine portraiture characteristic of Hellenistic die-cutting. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, adorned with a prominent crest and cheekpieces raised; curling locks of hair emerge beneath the helmet along the neck and cheek. The facial features are rendered with great naturalism, exhibiting a serene, idealized expression. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices.

Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, advancing left in full figure, her wings spread, holding a wreath extended in her right hand. A pomegranate — the civic emblem of Side — appears in the left field, serving as the city's identifying symbol. The magistrate's name or abbreviation ΔEI-N is inscribed across the field, identifying the issuing authority. The composition is characteristic of the civic tetradrachm coinage of Side in Pamphylia, combining standard Hellenistic iconography with local civic emblems.
