| Obverse description | Diademed portrait head of Ptolemy XII facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with idealized yet individual features. The hair is elaborately rendered with voluminous, tightly wound curls radiating from the crown and falling in layered locks about the temple. An aegis is visible at the base of the neck, a divine attribute associating the king with Zeus. The portrait is boldly struck in high relief, occupying the majority of the flan, with the characteristic soft facial profile of late Ptolemaic royal portraiture. |

| Reverse description | Eagle standing left atop a thunderbolt, wings closed, with a palm branch rising over its right shoulder — the canonical reverse type of Ptolemaic silver coinage. In the left field, a regnal date rendered as LKZ (Year 27) appears above the headdress of Isis (a solar disc flanked by cow horns), serving as a dating element. The mint mark ΠA, denoting the Paphos mint on Cyprus, appears in the right field. The encircling legend ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ runs around the reverse, proclaiming the coin's royal authority. |
