Obverse description Central field features a large Ottoman tughra (imperial monogram) in bold relief, surrounded by a decorative floral and foliate border. Arabic inscriptions appear in the upper field around the tughra. A small hole is pierced at the bottom of the token, indicating use as a pendant or costume adornment.
