| Obverse description | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valentinian III facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial tradition. The effigy displays a pearl diadem, with strands of hair visible above the brow and a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The cuirass is decorated with typical military detailing. A barbarous peripheral legend encircles the bust, reflecting Suebi imitative workmanship with characteristically degraded lettering. The overall style shows a departure from metropolitan Roman die-cutting, typical of early fifth-century Germanic imitative gold coinage. |

| Reverse description | A tall cross potent stands prominently at center, enclosed within a laurel wreath whose ties end in a rosette at the base. The wreath is rendered in the standard late Roman tremissis tradition, with beaded or pellet detailing along its border. No lateral panels appear flanking the cross, distinguishing this as the 'without panels' variety. A degraded reverse legend is present in the exergual or field area, consistent with the barbarous imitative style of Suebi gold coinage struck in the name of Valentinian III. |
