Reverse description A cross potent or cross on three steps occupies the central field, rendered in the highly stylized and abstracted manner typical of late Visigothic tremisses struck at Narbona. The central motif is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with the Latin mint and epithet legend + NARBONA PIVS surrounding it. The flan is irregular with an area of clipping, consistent with other surviving examples of this Narbonne emission.
