| Obverse description | Male head facing right, laureate with a wreath of leaves, rendered in the Ibero-Roman style characteristic of Hispanic bronze coinage of the mid-2nd century BC. Behind the head, a palm branch is visible, a common symbol of the Iberian mints of the Levantine coast. A dotted border encircles the design. The facial features are boldly modelled with a prominent nose and well-defined chin. No legend appears on the obverse. |
