Ukrainian collective farm scrip from the Soviet period, issued by the Kolkhoz "Victory" at Bakivtsi in Volhynia — one of hundreds of agricultural cooperatives that printed internal vouchers to compensate workers when cash wages were either delayed or simply unavailable. The issuing body, the Volhynie People's Production Association "Elita," functioned as a regional umbrella organization, which is why its name appears alongside the local kolkhoz rather than instead of it.
These 1 Karbovanets denomination vouchers were redeemable at the kolkhoz store against goods, not convertible to state currency. Survival rate is high relative to their age — they rarely left the village.
