Beschrijving voorzijde	Galley prow oriented to the right, rendered in detailed relief with visible oars and hull strakes. Above the prow, Nike advances to the right in flight, her wings spread, leaning forward to crown the prow with a wreath. The design is set within a dotted border and reflects the maritime heritage of Phaselis as a prominent Lycian port city.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Athena depicted in full figure, standing to the right, helmeted and draped in a long chiton and peplos. She raises her right arm to brandish a thunderbolt and extends her left arm bearing the aegis with its characteristic serpent fringe. The city ethnic ΦΒ appears flanking the figure in the field, to the left and right respectively, within a dotted border. The composition reflects the Hellenistic artistic tradition prevalent in Lycian civic bronze coinage of the second century BC.
