These municipal emergency issues — often printed on whatever stock was available, stamped or signed by a local official to confer legitimacy — were purely stopgap instruments, rarely intended to travel beyond the village market. The Gari Morera reference remains unassigned, which typically indicates the note was catalogued from limited surviving specimens or dealer records rather than a formal institutional collection.
