| 备注 |
The zero-euro souvenir note program, launched commercially around 2015 by Richard Faille under the EuroSouvenir brand, occupies a peculiar niche: legal-tender-adjacent collectibles that carry no actual monetary obligation. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine banknote specification — security thread, intaglio printing, and all — which is precisely what drives collector demand. The notes are not issued by any central bank and carry no Pick catalog number.
Oberthur's involvement matters here. The Tours facility has produced currency for over 130 countries, and the same production line handles these souvenirs, meaning the anti-counterfeiting architecture is functionally identical to circulating euro notes — an odd investment for a note worth nothing.
